A black and white version of the shed on the road into Indian Canyon, Palm Springs.
On a recent trip to Palm Springs, this adobe shed is on the road into the Indian Canyon park.
This was from an amazing marble relief panel on the front of a Duomo, in Orvieto, Italy. There were four long panels along the bottom of the church depicting the creation of man and his eventual descent into hell. This is part of the last panel.
This is a photo of Andrew Goldsworthy’s installation across from Inspiration Point in the Presidio. Well worth the effort to see it. There is a nice exhibit next to the Officer’s Club about the piece and the artist.
This is Andrew Goldsworthy’s installation at Stanford University. It is called Rock River and is made of sandstone salvaged from buildings damaged or destroyed during the Loma Prieta earthquake.
